So, found out some not-so-cool news about my health yesterday, im not particularily keen on broadcasting exactly what said news is, but will let you all know if its good or bad news when i find out the results in 2 days, fingers crossed.
other than that, met up with my friend Nani who i havnt seen in about 5 years, and its been really good catchin up with her. Its amazing to catch up with someone after that long and see what theyve been through and how they've changed.

The Good Ship Lollipop
Well today has been just one of those days, but suprisignly enough, im finding myself able to dela with it. Which i must say is one hell of a nice change :D
had a very cool night with my friend Gemma, she came round after i got off work and we just stayed up and talked till about 3.00 am, was muchos fun, and we must do it again sometime :D

Deep Fried Twinkies
5.30 am, bored as hell and sleep deprived :P
well big update since i havnt posted in a while. lets see where to start :D
We drank all 23 litres of full moon draught over a 2 day period this weekend :D was exellent times, stumbled off to work on sunday night off my face and lovin it :D definalty need to brew another one of those bad boys up, this time i think well bottle it though as it went flat way to quickly drinkin it straight from the "keg". Still, lesson learned, a profitable experience in brewing and in drinking :D
Was selected to be on "Test the nation" on monday, spent a good 9 hours out at avalon studio filming "Spontaneous" responses repeatedly :P our group of gamers came second over all, we were trailing until the very last round when we got knocked up to second place due to our youth (and good looks :D ). and now i have 200 dollars of gameplanet vouchers to spend(http://www.gameplanet.co.nz) , so happy times for all :D
My mum moved back to the UK last week, much she will be missed by all, spent the last couple of her days in Wellington with her which was really great. fingers crossed be over in the UK jan/feb some stage.
Got an email today from the lovely people at codemasters informing me that i have been selected for the Arch Lord beta test :D (http://www.archlordgame.com) so have been test playing that for the last couple of hours, really good game idea, still alot of basic stuff to be implemented though (like the ability to use WASD and not look like a duck on acid that has no idea its a duck or where its going :P ). however i do have a level 6 moon elf named Malanda to show for my time and effort, so not a complete bust :P
oh god, yawning already, not a good sign :(
ive decided i need to get out of the customer service industry as quickly as freakin possible, god damn, people can be so freakin rude/messy/stupid, and its just cause they are too lazy to do anything about the retarded behavioral patterns. GRRRRRRRRRR. phew, rant over.
OOO OOO OOO, my new room is looking freaking fantastic!!! got about 100 pages of awsome artwork from deviant art (http://www.deviantart.com) and thumb-tacked them up all over my room in nifty designs. it turned out really really well, and now i just need to wait for the swelling in my thumbs to go down and ill be able to fully appreciate it :P (will post pictures as soon as possible, just need to get a new battery charger for my camera)
5.50 am, god damn hour and 10 mins to go, not sure how im gonna make it :S
ill leave it at that for the moment, will try and update again soon :D

Double bubble, boil and trouble....
PARTY POST!!! :D
well as youve no doubt guessed friday night was a success, spent ages in the spa and sauna gettin incredibly wrinkly :P my skin feels so smooth after the time in the sauna though, very pleasent :D
didnt actually get that drunk which was interesting, i only got lightly sozzled on congac cocktails then had a blast just hangin in the water with everyone. Mumz also had a great time to for those of you who know her, and said it was "a brilliant send off".
a moderate downside to the weekend was i discovered my dad had been storing my bed on the floor of the garage, hence it was covered in mould when i went to get it out :( oh well lifes goes on :P (if anyone knows where i can get a good second hand bed let me know :P)
Our full moon draught is bubbling along quite happily (not long my pretty, all to soon you will be consumed in an orgy of alchohol, games, and new season family guy) and i grow ever more curious as to what the final brew will taste like. and if successful im gonna pitch the idea to my flat mates that we get a rotating cycle of drinkable and fermenting beer going, so we have AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF ALCHOHOL!!! MUHHAHAHAHAAH.
all up id say i had one of those really good weekends where it just doesent seem to end but theres heaps of stuff to do, but monday now, back to the grind.

Full Moon Draught
And here it is, the finished logo :P i know a blatent rip off, but still cool :DJess and Rowan came over and visited last night, was good times, the brew also seemed very happy as it cheerily bubbled along :P
so late to work this morning, stupid phone dying in the night, makes me think i should perhaps invest in a proper alarm. have a very cool new black shirt, pink tie combo however which im thinkin about wearing to THE PARTY tonight! :D i also have a tasteful red satin bathrobe which will feature prominantly during the evening. im a little unsure what nibbles to serve at said event, cause i wanna provide some kai, but not so much so that people get cramp and die when they go swimming :P
discovered last night that the beer should take about a week or two to ferment, i cant wait :P and i fear that its gonna be a week or so of gettin plastered.
episode 200 of naruto didnt come out last night :( but theyve made an announcement that the episode will be out on the 13th of september to be released in culmination with the third naruto movie entitled: "The Animal Riot of Crescent Moon Island!" so that gets 2 thumbs way up in my opinion :D

Wow, so i crashed an burned last night. Fell into bed around 8.45 and slept until 6 this morning. I never sleep like that, it was crazy.

Rage against the Deep Frier
As im in the mood for a bit of a change today im gonna attempt to write this update half my usual style and half film noir :D enjoy.
The sunlight streams in the floor to ceiling windows, my eyes adjust to the harshness of the world outside. i see people walking through there everyday mundane routines content with this thing called life, filled with no more energy than a rock with ADD.
some joe walks in the door, wants something from me for nothing in return, i breath out.
my head hurts, something to do with the neon confectionery force-fed to us by the media and every other scheming bastard just tryin to make a few extra bucks.
As my good friend grant so eloquantly pointed out, Samurai Champloo is not infact a new series, by new i simply meant that i hadnt seen it before, and hence new to me :P
anyway wednesday morning, a good day to be alive.
woot my room is finally vacated and i can start gettin stuff set up, plannin on painting everything up as im sick of the disgusting shade of peach which reminds me all to well of several of the nights ive drunk far to much. If your keen to help out drop me a comment or a txt, would be greatly appreciated.
In other news, i'm greatly saddened by the departure of Steve Irwin. While he wasnt exactly the sharpest knife on the block, he was still an amazing person with his heart in the right place, and lets face it who isnt gonna miss flicking over to the crocidile hunter and hearing "BY CRIKEY!", i know i will. Steve, May the khaki shorts be with you...always.
You look at me with disgust, hell i look in the mirror everyday and see the same thing, how do you think i feel? still one day at a time, thats what they always tell you. the metallic rattle of my lungs as i cough up some part of my existance reminds me to take the little blue pill that makes it all better.
God i feel like im writing some crappy plot from the matrix :P so my film noir'ness turned into more of a emo noir story but hey, thats the way life sometimes goes.
very excited about friday, thinking i might take my little friend cid, and see where the night takes :D

Another day, another danish...
tuesday morning, the night after, urgh.
works its usual riviting self, trying to figure out ways to entertain myself for the next 6 hours :(
Think i may be coming down with something, chest hurts and im having trouble breathing :S hopefully nothin serious and will be fully recovered for friday, fingers crossed :D
Speaking of which, big party coming up this friday, gonna be lots of booze, water and general fun to be had. cant wait :D
started watching a new anime series from the creators of cowboy bebop, its called "Samurai Champloo" (http://www.samuraichamploo.com/) basically from what i understand the creators wanted to combine the classic samurai anime genre with urban hip hop, and this is what they came up with, very cool, very fast and awsome character progression. anyone who was a fan of cowboy bebop should definatly check this out.
I feel its time to start planning for new years, would like to make this one a big one as its the last one im planning to spend in NZ for a while, off travelling next year :D im thinking booze, beaches and nachos. ahh the perfect new years :D.
My mum heads back to the UK on september 11th, gonna spend time with my sister during her second pregnancy and be around for the birth. little Jacob is doing exceptionally well i hear and is a little bundle of joy, cant wait to meet him :D
anyway ill leave it at that for today, hope all is well in everyone's prospective worlds.

NO! this is MY chemical romance!
Well my first blog post, hopefully the first of many.
My weekend was one of the best ive had in a long time, spent friday night with friends celebrating our lovely friend Coleys birthday, much fun was had by all but regretably ended up crashing at a pathetic 3 a.m, but hey life goes on :D
Now saturday, my goodness, that will be a day to remember. Woke up as i do most days feeling enthusiastic, if not awake (nothing like the 9-5 grind to take the fun out of ones week) cooked a lovely big breakfast and went back to sleep again :D nothing like a day in bed. Lazy saturday where i accomplish nothing = Check :D
Now my evening deserves some serious thank you's to some people, firstly and formostly thank you to my good friend Phil, who convinced me to get off my lazy ass and do something with my saturday night. And secondly a big thanks that the group of Vic students who i ended up partying with that night (those of you i didnt know, great to meet you, those of you who i do, im sure youll all see far too much of me all to0 soon :D ) partyed till 12 when we got kicked out :P spent some time in town with sophia (of http://redconfectionery.blogspot.com/ ) and phil, and trundled off home about 1 a.m.
Spent sunday luxuriating in my spa and sauna, eating decandant amounts of food, wine, beer etc.. and falling into bed ariound 6p.m feeling that my weekend had been wonderful if not productive.
So now we arrive to the present moment, monday morning. Tired, hungry, and bored all ready :P
Ah well, back to it.
